Contrary to popular belief, I am not being held by the CCP, banned from the internet by the CCP, mutated into a cactus/robot/lion creature of doom, or in need of a liver transplant. I have much to talk about, but little motivation to type it out. What's intriguing is that I actually started typing out at least three entries detailing my ~magical adventures~ here, but I lost interest in them before I could finish them. They're still saved somewhere, though. I ought to find them and compile them together, provided I don't get distracted again.

Until then, have the Cliff Notes version.

It's not as interesting as you think. )I SURE DISCOVERED A LOT OF THINGS.

In other news, I have a Dreamwidth and Inksome! (Inksome has 150 userpics, but it seems to be dead. This is strange to me.) Username is laronmi for both. I also gave in to the Pokemon eggs thing.

I'll be gone tonight, as I'm taking pictures for the night shoot for my mom. I. . .am admittedly terrified about my friends list. If anything important happens, comment here?

And [info]Vyc, I am so sorry for worrying you. (I-I saw that entry, yes. orz) If you want me to set up that wiki, I can now! Could you send an e-mail to me, though? I'm not sure if your LJ one works or not, so. . . E-mail's either laronmi[at]gmail.com or jesus[at]laronmi.net. \o/

GREETINGS FROM 山海关 and 秦皇岛!

I finally got the internet connection setup at our hotel room! I'll post pictures of the Great Wall and the press conference from the first day of filming tomorrow. Also, the place the crew is staying at is gorgeous. It's like taking a trip back in time to ancient China. The pictures will not disappoint, but I've got over 300 pictures and 20 minutes of video to sort through first. Ahaha.

First day of filming was tiring for everyone, myself included. Funny, because all I did was run around taking pictures and helping my mom with her wardrobe. I'm thinking about taking tomorrow off, since the internet is finally set up and I need to answer e-mails for my mom anyway.

I'll just end this entry with this:

[info]MONDAY. I WAS WRONG. I am part Russian! Apparently this was a family secret that my grandmother forbade my mother to speak to me about. (Long story) On the train to here, though, I got into a discussion with my mom about China-Russia relations, and she just kind of blurted it out. SO YEAH. That does explain a few things about my mom and me. AHAHAHA. She also wants to take me on a trip to visit our other motherland and track down the family we never knew one day. STILL NOT YANDERE, THOUGH.

'Sup guys?! I'm in an internet bar in Guangzhou right now, using a proxy (Note to self: http://chpi.info seems to work! As does http://www.ninjacloak.com) to access LJ. And LJ's layout is screwed up and funky looking, but that's okay. I can cope.

I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH. Sob. My mother tells me that once she starts working, I should be able to have regular internet access since one of the actors has a slight internet addiction and refuses to stay in hotels without it, so! Hoping then I can my laptop and TOR set up without any fuss. And [info]Vyc, I'll set up those wikis for you then too.

Geez, I go for a couple of days and my friends list explodes. @_@ And my communities, too, but I've got [info]hetalia friended, so that's not really surprising.

I've done nothing fun or interesting so far. I've just lounged around in our home, making sure that my cousin doesn't chew on electrical wires or whatever he wants to do with them. Love you all lots.

Now let's figure out what China has blocked this year! Joy.

Hello from Hong Kong! Free WiFi makes me happy.

JUST AS A NOTE: I will try to set up my cell in China with Twitter. Except my mom has related to me that she thinks she has broken my cell. By using it to surf the internet. I DON'T KNOW. My mother can work miracles with technology, but it's usually the type of miracle that no one wants.

She plans to start working on May 8th! I am to go with her as her assistant. I haven't a clue where the filming is supposed to be. If it's in a city, then chances of internet access are high! If they're going to the mountains, then, well. Mountains.

I miss all my Pitt buddies already. GUYS, DON'T LET PITTSBURGH BE INVADED BY ZOMBIES OR SOMETHING.

EDIT: Hahaha, I need to change my laptop's time. TWELVE HOUR DIFFERENCE.

I had dinner with [info]ilfiren, [info]Monday, [info]Pie, and [info]Dahlia. Dahlia accidentally touched my butt at one point, and, well, I was inspired to write a song.

It's called I Didn't Mean to Touch Your Butt.Lyrics! )

Other than that, I'M FREE! WOO HOO. I'll miss all of my friends though. Guuuuuuys! ;__; TELETUBBY LOVES YOU. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ Come to China!

N-n-new layout! [info]laronmi! Blatantly copied the design from [info]passing_girl. (She makes such nice layouts. . .) Despite that, it still took me two weeks to finish, hahahaha.

One day I will not use Flexible Squares. That day is not today.

Oh, right! I'm using a random header script for my header image. Do you see the strawberry? (For anyone who's curious, the random header script can be found here at [info]s2flexisquares.)

In other news, going back to China on the 23rd. I have not started packing yet. Ahahahaha. Aha. Sob, I hate packing.

A Visual Demo of CANNOT UNSEE IT. An essay/rant on race/gender/sexuality fail in the media, and the people who notice it (or don't).

The FexEx Arrow and How to Deal With It. A response to the previous.

Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent. A 47 year old unmarried woman (who's not the prettiest thing around) goes on Britain's Got Talent. The audience and judges laugh, thinking that she'll be crap. I cried when she started singing. She is that good.

Amazon rank. I'm browsing the #amazonfail tag on Twitter. Apparently a number of books have been fixed, but the number one search result for "homosexuality" is still A Parent's Guide to Preventing Homosexuality. Ugh.

We are tiny. I don't think anyone can truly wrap their heads around how vast the universe is.

I've been kind of out of it lately. Plus, I have a headache that hasn't left since last night.

SPOILERS. From Coastal Cave until Pharamond. )

Everyone who has a DS and likes RPGs should get this game. The voice acting is shoddy, the dungeons are annoying, the save points are few in said dungeons, getting the good ending is hell without a walkthrough, the protagonist runs way too slow, there's so many characters (108 total recruitable, not including NPCs and villains) that I get a headache trying to remember them all, etc. etc. IT IS AWESOME AND I LOVE IT. ♥

For no other reason than because I could, I decided to type up some old diary entries of mine. I was a terrible speller. )

I think that's enough for now.

The most productive thing I did this weekend was get to level 58 in Tetris. 570 Lines cleared and 1,323,950 points obtained. No where near hitting the max, but not bad! I also discovered that my fingers lost feeling around level thirty something. Hahaha, the fact that I found that out at all is pretty sad.

Okay, no, I did start a rough plan of this year's NaNo. Why I continue to do this to myself, I do not know. I blame the CCP.

I'm going to say right now that I have nothing planned for April Fools, and that I am extremely gullible. If you trick me, I will beat you with my mind. . . .Except for the part where I can't, so, uh. . .

I wish I was not lazy enough to think of a good prank. Alas.

Sob, I have such a bad feeling. I just want to hide under the covers all day.

You don't have to know what you want. All you have to know is what you don't want. Once you know that, everything else will fall into place.

MY MOTHER IS THE MOST AMAZING PERSON EVER, YOU GUYS. Even if she does call me at three in the morning. But it was to wish me a happy birthday! LOVE MOMMY.

EARTH HOUR TODAY. Who wants to spend it with me in the dark? Uhuhuhuhuhu

My weather widget says it will be 61 degrees. That's warm enough for ice cream, right? 8D Is there even a Baskin Robbins near Pitt?

Two decades old, and I still can't drive! Or swim! Or ride a bike! Or find a job! O-or get a date, sob.

Now watch as I go to bed at seven in the morning and sleep through my entire birthday. A WINNER IS ME!

Hey, guys! This Saturday, March 28th, is my birthday! It is also the day that Earth Hour occurs.

What is Earth Hour? Well, from 8:30 to 9:30 PM (Whatever your local time is), everyone will turn off their lights. That's it. Pretty simple, eh?

Here's the thing: That simple act can have pretty big results. Bangkok saved 73.34 megawatts of electricity (Roughly 41.6 metric tonnes of CO2) last year. This year, the WWF is aiming at having even more people participate. Their goal is one billion. That's a lot of people, and potentially a lot of energy saved.

So! For my birthday, I'd like for you to turn off your lights. Maybe even turn off your computer and television, and unplug some devices. Read a book by candle light! Play a hand held video game! Knit! Learn how to speak whale! Summon aliens! Whatever! Just give our planet a well needed rest for an hour, okay?

AND SPREAD THE WORD! The more people who participate, the better this will be.

Oh! If you're one of those people who are, "Oh, pish posh! That won't have any effect on the long term deterioration of our planet!", I direct you to this. Specifically number four. ❤

If you haven't seen this yet, the best summary/retelling of Twilight ever. Of course, that's the only one I've seen, so there could be better! Who knows. I know that I couldn't stop laughing long enough to read part two, though!

Hey guys! Remember the zombie mafia/LARP games? You know, the ones that involved running around like the undead and whacking people with sticks?

I just got another e-mail. There's a game tomorrow from 10PM until UNKNOWN. Anyone feel like coming? She said I could take anyone, so if you've never been before, you can still come with us!

They are tons of fun! If you want more details, check here.
